I Started Dating at 15.
I Met My Husband at 40.
That's 25 years. Over 1,000 dates. More heartbreak than most women could survive — and somehow, I survived all of it.
My first heartbreak came at 19 — my high school sweetheart, the boy I thought was my forever. Instead of learning the right lesson, I learned the wrong one: try harder. Give more. Be more. So I did. For the next two decades.
I fell for a man who dangled commitment like a carrot — always almost ready, never quite there. Then came the one I loved enough to follow across the world. I uprooted my entire life for him. He repaid me with disloyalty, selfishness, and betrayal I still don't have clean words for. Peter Pan energy. Cheating. And along the way, I encountered controlling, narcissistic, and emotionally abusive men who eroded my sense of self in ways I'm still grateful I healed from.
I collected them all. The emotionally unavailable. The perpetual bachelors. The ones who made me feel like I was the problem — too much, too independent, too everything.
And here's what nobody tells you when you're in the middle of it: I was not the problem. But I was the pattern.
So I studied, researched, and obsessed — until I built the Strict 7™ Framework out of my own wreckage. I applied it to myself first. Within 90 days, I met my husband on a dating app. The same apps that had delivered me an endless parade of wrong men — until the woman swiping was fundamentally different.
Today I am a wife, a mother, and the living proof that it is never too late. That the right man does exist. And that hundreds of women have since closed the chapter on unavailable men — and opened the one that leads to the altar.
